The National Association of Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapists®  (NAHAH) was established by John Richardson (Est: 2019) to continue and develop the work of his peers, Mr. John Howard (The John Howard College Of Holistic Hypnotherapy), who retired in 2002, and Mr. Alan David Kershaw (The Alan Kershaw School Of Holistic Hypnotherapy), who sadly passed to the other side of life in March 2018, and were the original founders of The National Association Of Holistic Hypnotherapists (NAHH): John is eternally grateful to these two great men of the profession and their teachings have been the foundations of all John's work... and success!

John has added 'Analytical' to 'Holistic Hypnotherapy' & 'Holistic Hypnotherapists' as he believes that Analysis, or HypnoAnalysis, is the source of all Hypnotherapy success: Treating the root cause of clients presenting symptoms.

Analysis, or HypnoAnalysis, is Hypnotherapy in its most purest form and the foundations of a (Successful) Hypnotherapy Practice: And now it's John's turn to continue and build an 'Association' around Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapy creating a natural progression of the original teachings John himself first received.

John Richardson is also a Master Stage Hypnotist with many years experience having had the privilege of being originally trained and mentored by a stage legend, Mr. David Knight. John believes that a good understanding of Stage Hypnosis is vital in modern day Hypnotherapy to remove myths, create confidence and aid conviction – This course provides just that! Rapid and instant inductions are also beneficial to the Hypnotherapist as they reduce induction time, thus allowing more session time for the all important therapy. The majority of Hypnotherapy Courses devote little time to Rapid  and Instant Induction Techniques, as used by the Master Stage Hypnotist, and a better understanding is way over due and it's John's intention to correct this critical oversight: Stage Hypnosis is a wonderful way, if conducted in a competent and responsible way, of demonstrating the power of the Unconscious / Subconscious Mind and the Two Mind Concept.

Also the older 'Associations' steered away from Psychic: Spiritual Mediumship, just like they did from Stage Hypnosis, and John feels this is a grave mistake as a Spiritual Awareness benefits today's Professional Hypnotherapist... ENORMOUSLY!

Note: Recently, the Government has been taking positive steps to regulate Practising Hypnotherapists. It is the general consensus that in the near future a National Occupational Standard will be imposed. Part of this criteria is that all therapists must be monitored and belong to a Recognised Association that complies with ongoing training and supervision of its members to maintain competency and most importantly, ensure the public are not put at risk: Also removing individuals advertising as a Hypnotherapist without the correct amount of training and mentoring. This will also include a strict Code of Practice which can only help strengthen the credibility and integrity of our profession. It is my intention to encompass this so the 'Association' can provide the best support for its members. It will also ensure that Patients / Clients are treated with due care and will get the best treatment available and also provide the 'Association' with evidence to support any Practitioner, should any adverse situation occur within the Therapist / Patient / Client relationship. It will allow members to continue to develop their skills and knowledge, helping our mission to be recognised as Professional Practitioners. It is my view that a National Regulation Board is long overdue and to some degree holding the profession back in its development and integration into mainstream medicine: A Regulation Board should be welcomed by all Ethical, Professional Hypnotherapists and not seen as a THREAT!

Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapy is a method of Analysis (Often referred to as HypnoAnalysis) that uses Regressive Hypnotherapy Techniques and Free Association to explore Repressed Memories to find the Root cause of a Clients Presenting Symptoms; treating the Mind and Body as a whole along with Suggestion and Bodily Healing Therapies in one : Also taking into consideration the Soul and Spirit of a client to provide the full Holistic Approach – For wherever there is a symptom there is a cause!

HOW CAN I TRAIN TO ACHIEVE THIS?

John Richardson and The National Association Of Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapists offers an on-line home-study course, which allows you to study at your own pace. The course was written originally by Mr. John Howard, Innovated by Alan David Kershaw and now Taught by John Richardson. There is no time limit on completing the course. The course consists of 20 modules with questions at the end of each module and 3 practical days training / workshops with John Richardson himself, allowing you to put into practice the techniques you have studied. John Richardson is available by telephone or face to face (if location allows) for any questions. On reaching Section 11 there will be a one-day workshop and the same again at Section 16, and the final day will be on completion of module 20, where you will attend the practical workshop and  complete your training by sitting the final examination – The exam is a way of providing information to make sure you have a full understanding of all you have studied, and highlighting anything we need to discuss further, so you are left with no doubts when you start your first day of practice. On passing the final examination (DIP: HYP), you will become A  Registered Practitioner of Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapy (RPHAH) and a member of The  National Association of Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapists®  (NAHAH) and will be invited to join the 'Association'. Before starting practice it is advised by the 'Association' that you attend your own Analysis, though not mandatory, and John provides discounted sessions to all students. The course of The NAHAH is suitable not only for the person who wants to become a Professional Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapist but also for the person who seeks Personal Growth, Understanding & Self Development.
